If your job post on the AirGigs Artists Wanted Board was not approved, it may be because it did not meet our posting guidelines. Below are some common reasons why a job post may not go live and what you can do to get it approved.

1. The Post Calls for Auditions Instead of a Specific Job

AirGigs is designed for hiring service providers for specific projects, not for general auditions or scouting talent for future opportunities. If your post is more about finding musicians for potential future work rather than hiring for a defined job (e.g., a specific song or project), it may not be approved.

How to Fix It:
Update your job post to specify what you're hiring for - such as a particular song, project, or session work, and then reach out to the team at help@airgigs.com to advise us of the update.

2. The Post Asks for Custom Samples with Proposals

We do not allow job posts that require sellers to submit custom samples before being hired. This policy is in place to ensure fairness and protect the time and effort of service providers.

How to Fix It:
You can still request a custom sample from a specific seller after you’ve received proposals, but they may require a fee and it cannot be a requirement for the job itself. Simply remove this request from your job description, and then reach out to the team at help@airgigs.com to advise us of the update.

3. The Job Budget Is Below $75

AirGigs requires all job posts to have a minimum budget of $75. This ensures fair compensation for sellers and maintains quality across the platform. If your job post was priced lower than this amount, it will not be approved.

How to Fix It:
Update your job post to reflect a minimum budget of $75 or more and then reach out to the team at help@airgigs.com to advise us of the update.

4. The Post Is a Local Job Submitted Under the Remote Category

Local job posts are paid job postings on AirGigs. If you submitted a local job under the remote category, it will not be approved.

How to Fix It:
If you’re looking to hire musicians or service providers in a specific geographic location, you’ll need to post it as a paid local job. The $30 fee helps ensure that job postings attract serious clients with real opportunities, giving musicians confidence in the project and increasing the likelihood of quality responses.
