Hey, we get it - sometimes things change, and sometimes a little negotiation is needed to reach a win-win. Whether you’re a buyer looking for a slight adjustment or a seller generously working with a client, just remember: your time and talent are valuable!

Now, if you’re set on tweaking the cost of an order in progress… well, we haven’t exactly built that function just yet. But don’t worry! We’ve got a handy workaround to help you get it done. Here’s how:

How to Adjust the Cost of an Order

  1. Request a Cancellation – Either buyer or seller can submit a cancellation request for the current order.
  2. Create a New Custom Offer – At the same time, the seller can create a new offer at the revised price and send the client a custom offer link.
  3. Reapply Funds – Once the first order is canceled, the client will see the funds from the cancelled order credited on their My Balance & Invoices page, and they will be able to use the funds to pay for the new order.
